Customizations
Hollow shaft stepper motors can be customized to meet application-specific mechanical, electrical, and integration requirements. The hollow shaft design is especially useful when cabling, tubing, light transmission, or a rotating pass-through is needed through the motor axis.
Single shaft, double shaft, custom shaft length, D-cut, flat, or application-specific machining.
Rated current, voltage, winding, lead wire length, connector type, and cable routing requirements.
Encoder integration, closed-loop feedback, and positioning support for higher accuracy requirements.
Custom mounting details, bearing considerations, through-hole requirements, and compact package needs.
Application-specific protection, coating, durability, corrosion resistance, and clean operation needs.
Prototype, quick-ship evaluation, and production-level customization for OEM equipment builds.

Designed around your system to simplify installation, improve fit, and support repeatable production.
Part Number Builder
Hollow shaft stepper motor part numbers are structured by motor size, motor type, step angle, motor length, lead wire configuration, shaft configuration, rated current, and customer sequence number.
Motor size. NEMA 6 / 14 mm frame.
Motor type. HS = Hollow Shaft Stepper Motor.
Step angle. 2 = 2-phase, 1.8° step angle. 4 = 2-phase, 0.9° step angle.
Motor length code. Example shown for the 30 mm stack code used in 6HS2030.
Lead wire configuration. 4 = bipolar / 4 flying leads. 6 = unipolar / 6 flying leads.
Shaft configuration. D = double shaft. S = single shaft.
Rated current code. XXX = rated current × 100 amps. Example: 0.25 A = 025.
Customer sequence number for standard or custom configuration tracking.
