Tested at 48 VDC with DS-OLS8-FRS4 bipolar chopper drive at rated current RMS. Motor torque may vary with voltage and drive conditions; a 50% torque safety margin is recommended.

Encoder Options
NEMA 24 hollow shaft motors support EK2 and EK3 hollow type encoder assembly options. Encoder selection is available for feedback requirements such as position confirmation, speed monitoring, and closed-loop motion control.
Hollow encoder option available for NEMA 24 / 60mm with single-ended and differential output code selections.
Higher-resolution hollow encoder option available for NEMA 24 / 60mm with single-ended and differential output code selections.
Single-ended and differential output options are available depending on the required electrical interface.

Part Number Builder
Hollow shaft stepper motor part numbers are structured by motor size, motor type, step angle, motor length, lead wire configuration, shaft configuration, rated current, and customer sequence number.
Motor size. NEMA 24 / 60 mm frame.
Motor type. HS = Hollow Shaft Stepper Motor.
Step angle. 2 = 2-phase, 1.8° step angle. 4 = 2-phase, 0.9° step angle.
Motor length code. Examples include 047 for 24HS2047 and 068 for 24HS2068.
Lead wire configuration. 4 = bipolar / 4 flying leads. 6 = unipolar / 6 flying leads.
Shaft configuration. D = double shaft. S = single shaft.
Rated current code. XXX = rated current × 100 amps. Example: 4.00 A = 400.
Customer sequence number for standard or custom configuration tracking.
