The NEMA 6 stepper ball screw linear actuator is the smallest ball screw linear actuator size in the DINGS’ Motion lineup.

External actuator configuration is available with screw end machining and encoder options for compact precision motion applications.

Test condition: Testing voltage 12 VDC. Driver model DS-OLS2-FPD bipolar chopper driver at rated current RMS. Motor thrust changes with different voltage and driver selections. A 50% thrust margin is recommended.

3. Step Angle

2 = 2-phase, 1.8° step angle. 4 = 2-phase, 0.9° step angle.

4. Motor Length

1 = Single stack. 2 = Double stack. 3 = Triple stack.

5. Rated Current / Phase

XX = X.X A / phase. Example: 03 = 0.3A.

6. Ball Screw Code

Ball screw code from the selection table. Example: BS14 = 1 mm lead.

7. Number of Lead Wires

4 = 4-wire leads. 6 = 6-wire leads.

8. Ball Screw Length

XXX = ball screw length in millimeters. Example: 100 = 100 mm.

9. Thread Direction

R = Right-hand direction.

10. Ball Screw End Machining

M = Metric, U = UNC, S = Smooth, C = Custom, N = None.

11. Option

EKX = Encoder, P = Manual knob, B = Brake, X = Rear shaft, R = Encoder ready, C = Customization, N = No rear-end machining.
